On a hillside in the heart of the UNESCO area Monte Peglia in the green Umbria region lies Polmone Turismo Verde. A small-scale holiday accommodation with four apartments, situated in an old 17th-century farmhouse. All apartments are very spacious and fully equipped with a kitchen, living room and generous bedrooms.
Each apartment has, depending on the number of beds, one or more private terraces with views over the fields and the valley surrounding Polmone. There is free parking on the grounds and an 11KW charging station is available for electric cars. A lovely swimming pool is available for all guests.
As of summer 2025, Saturday is no longer fixed as the arrival day. During the main season you can check in any day of the week as long as you book at least 5 nights.
In the area around Polmone Turismo Verde there are many walking trails, picturesque villages and towns and fantastic restaurants and wine houses. The owners also live on the grounds and will ensure that guests lack for nothing.
A niche in holiday accommodation is the presence of a fully equipped garage with a lift. This is why vintage car owners regularly find their way to Polmone.

You reach this three-room apartment via a wide stone staircase to the first floor. It is cozily and comfortably furnished and offers a cinematic view of the hills and valleys around it, constantly changing in color and shadow. The spacious living room has a pleasant open kitchen and there are two large bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. This accommodation has three different terraces where you can choose to have a meal, have a drink or simply relax.

Camino is perhaps the most characteristic part of the old farmhouse. This is where the farming family once lived, and there is still a large fireplace in the high central space and the original sink has been preserved. The rest of the floor consists of bedrooms. The main bedroom has a lovely double bed and an old linen cupboard to store your clothes, the other bedroom has two single beds and an extra bed, making the room very suitable for children, who can then each sleep separately. At the top of the stairs is a small terrace where you can have a nice breakfast, and there is also another terrace a bit further from the apartment where you can enjoy looking out over the valley in the evening sun.
