From that moment on, your personal page or mini site is online.

Can I manage several properties with one account?

Certainly. Send an e-mail to info@vakantiebijbelgen.com with the name of your second property and we will link it to your account. For now it is not possible to link properties at different addresses yourself.

Can I still edit my photos after uploading them?

Accepted Answer

Upload your photos and then click the pencil to edit them. Rotate, move and crop your photos directly in the photo uploader. After uploading, click the arrow to save your photo.

I want to promote my property. How much does a "Tip of the month" cost?

Accepted Answer

The price of a "Tip of the month" depends on the average number of visitors, so prices vary from month to month. You will find all prices in your account under PROMOTE.

How do I enter the exact location of my property?

Accepted Answer

You can search for and mark the exact location on the map straight away by dragging the map pointer to the right spot. If you have the GPS coordinates, you can enter them straight away. If not, look up the exact coordinates of your property here.

How can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

To delete your account, send an e-mail to info@vakantiebijbelgen.com with the name of your property and your user name. Your account will then be deleted as soon as possible. You will always receive a confirmation e-mail.

I want to rent out my property. How do I register?

To create a new account, click LIST YOUR PROPERTY at the top right. Get to know our website and how it works, free of charge. Fill in all your details, add your accommodation (rooms, apartments, gîtes, …), upload your photos and see a preview right away. Then take out an annual subscription in a few clicks. From that moment on, your personal page or mini site is online.

I just took out a subscription and can't find my property in the search?

If you recently created a new account, it can take up to 24 hours before your property can be found in the search. To keep our search fast, all new properties are checked and added to the search results once a day. If your property still can't be found 24 hours after taking out your subscription, feel free to e-mail us at info@somebay.eu

How do I contact the owner of a property?

On the property page, click "CONTACT THE OWNER". Fill in your details there and the owner will contact you directly.

How do I book a B&B, holiday home, room, gîte, …?

Accepted Answer

There are two options: the owner has no calendar -> for information about prices and availability, contact the owner by clicking "contact the owner". The owner has a calendar -> enter your check-in and check-out date to see the price right away, then click "request a quote" or book directly. In both cases the first contact goes through our website; further bookings and payments are made directly with the owner.

Are there any extra costs for a booking?

Vakantie bij Belgen charges no booking fees or commissions, because you book directly with the owner.

Are reviews checked?

Every review and every reply to a review is checked by us. In case of doubt or inappropriate reviews, we always contact the owner or the guest.

How do I cancel a booking?

Accepted Answer

A reservation, booking or payment is always made directly with the owner. To cancel a booking, you therefore also contact the owner directly. Vakantie bij Belgen makes the first contact between owner and guest; further bookings and payments are made directly with the owner.

Are owners checked?

Vakantie bij Belgen is only a platform where owners of properties such as B&Bs, holiday homes, gîtes, … can advertise. The owner publishes all information about the property on our website independently.

We regularly ask owners to update their page so that all information and photos stay up to date for potential guests.

Vakantie bij Belgen is only a platform where owners of properties such as B&Bs, holiday homes, gîtes, … can advertise their property. We are therefore not a booking site or travel agency, as you always book directly with the owner.

A reservation, booking or payment is always made directly with the owner. You agree with the owner how to pay.
