La Bohème

La Bohème is a gite for 2 people, (unfortunately non-smoking, no pets) in Malaucène at the foot of Mont Ventoux, and about 15 minutes' walk from the pleasant town centre. With its supermarket, bakery, butcher, hairdresser, CA bank, Post Office, shops with local products, plus the many restaurants and terraces. Of course, a number of places where you can rent bicycles, as well as clothing and bicycle parts. Malaucène is a quarter hour's drive from Vaison-la-Romaine, with its many Roman and other historical attractions. The cosy gite which I have rented out annually since 2002, is located on the ground floor of my Provençal house, where I myself (without children) live on the first floor. Situated on a property of 2300 m², called a "park" by the gardener, with a private swimming pool. The layout: entrance/lounge with armchairs and TV, long corridor with bathroom (washbasin, shower, toilet), kitchen-living room, with gas cooker, dishwasher, tall refrigerator, microwave and a well-stocked crockery/glassware cupboard, plus the bedroom with twin beds, hanging and storage cupboard. Washing machine to be used jointly with the owner. Bed linen for bedroom, kitchen and bathroom is included in the price. Via the drive you arrive at my house, where you can park.
