Perched on the Hebalm at 1,400 meters altitude, you'll find our chalet in Carinthia. The chalet is located right on the border between Styria and Carinthia, the best of both worlds! On one side, the beautiful mountains and alpine meadows of Styria, and on the other side, the beautiful weather of Carinthia. From your chalet, you can see more than 40 kilometers across the mountains! The chalet is easy to access; from the A2 motorway, you're at the chalet in just 10 minutes, so no difficult mountain roads, not even in winter.
In summer, it's a wonderful area to explore. You can visit one of the many lakes in Carinthia, take beautiful hikes through the mountains, explore caves, or simply enjoy the beautiful views. Next to the chalet is a natural swimming lake, which provides cooling relief in summer.
In winter, you'll find a small ski area right next to the chalet, perfect for learning to ski! In the immediate vicinity (15-30 minutes drive), you'll find about 5 more ski areas.

From the holiday home and terrace you have a lovely view over the surrounding mountains. Due to the favourable location of the Hebalm, you can reach the chalets within 10 minutes from the A2 motorway. So no difficult mountain roads, just easy access!

Dit was ideal voor onze familie. Je kan boodschappen doen in het dorp of eten in het restaurant ernaast. Langlaufen om de hoek of 40 minuten rijden voor een groter skigebied. Cultuur snuiven in Graz... zeg 't maar.

Positief: Het uitzicht op het dal is echt fantastisch, dat is heerlijk wakker worden! De huisjes hebben een heel leuke sfeer door de houten uitstraling en de houtkachel. Zeker als je nagaat dat er een sauna inzit, vonden we de prijs erg laag. De eigenaar, Hans, was ontzettend behulpzaam. En vlakbij zit een gezellig restaurant met vrolijk personeel, een haardvuur en eveneens een houten, gezellige inrichting. Wij zaten hier in de winter en er zijn allerlei verschillende pistes in de buurt, waaronder eentje op 5 minuten rijden waarop je zowel als beginner als wat meer gevorderder wintersporter kunt oefenen. Deze piste is erg handig voor gezinnen. Op een halfuur of drie kwartier rijden zijn nog grotere pistes. Als het lukt komen we volgend jaar weer!
Negatief: Het is wel handig om een auto bij je te hebben, zodat je naar de supermarkt en naar de pistes kunt.
Groepsles nemen is wat lastig in deze omgeving, maar als je een privéleraar huurt voor meerdere mensen in je gezin, ben je juist goedkoper uit. Als je als enige les nodig hebt, is het dus wat duurder om les te nemen, maar tegelijkertijd leer je het zo wel veel sneller dan wanneer je steeds op mensen in je groep moet wachten. Die piste op 5 minuten rijden is erg handig om les op te krijgen, aangezien je vlakkere en steilere stukken hebt.
