The picturesque village of Saint Auvent is located in the heart of France in the Haute Vienne department, Limousin region. This beautiful area is named after the Vienne river which winds through the hilly, green landscape.
On the edge of this village stands the old village schoolhouse on a plot of 4000m2. On the grounds you will find two charming gîtes and two chambres d'hôtes. In the old barn there is now a dining/recreation room for our guests.
The third gîte (a former signal keeper's cottage) is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Chaillac-sur-Vienne, surrounded by meadows.
Table d'hôte: in the months of June, July & August we cook for our guests two to three times per week.

Le Maitre is the ground floor of the old residential house of the schoolmaster of the adjacent school, which has been out of service since 1985 and has now become our home.
It is equipped with all amenities and has its own terrace and garden.
